Our most popular jelly and the one we hang our hats on, Richland Creek Mayhaw Jelly is by far the best mayhaw jelly on the market! Period.  It’s where we got our start and it’s where our hobby orchard turned into a business pursuit.  Relatively unknown outside our region, mayhaws are a mini apple of sorts coming from the Crataegus family.  It’s an understory fruit tree indigenously found in swamps and low places of south Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and other south-eastern states.  Our ancestors would scout flooded river bottoms in May (hence the name) with dip nets to scoop up ripened mayhaws as they dropped to the water so they could collect enough fruit to make THE BEST JELLY YOU EVER PUT IN YOUR MOUTH!  Naturally deep pink to red in color, Richland Creek’s Mayhaw Jelly is not “watered down” so it stands shoulder to shoulder with what your grandmother made!
